Casa Nuova Low Profiling Bed
The Casa Nuova Low Profiling Bed is a very robust, stable and reliable profiling bed with a strong tubular metal frame and wooden beech effect head and footboards.
Whilst suitable for use in both the private home or the residential care environment, the Casa Nuova has been specifically designed with the care provider in mind. One key feature is that the beds design allows for much quicker cleaning and decontamination after each individual user, improving infection control and ensuring the risk of cross contamination is reduced to an absolute minimum. The Casa Nuova Low Profiling Bed is also very easy to assemble and disassemble when required, and is supplied with transport brackets to ensure easy transportation and allow the bed to be stored in an upright position to minimise the space required. The Casa Nuova Low Profiling Bed has a much lower minimum height setting than the standard profiling bed, lowering to just 23cms (9") from the floor, providing a safe resting and sleeping environment for users at risk of falling out of bed, whilst also allowing the beds height to be raised to allow a carer to work at a height that minimises strain and reduces the risk of back or other injuries. Controlled by use of an easy to operate hand held controller, the Casa Nuova features an electrically powered backrest, leg rest and knee break, giving the widest possible range of solutions for greater user comfort and ease of access and reducing the need for manual handling.
