With a safe working load of up to 60 stone (385 kgs), the Invacare Octave Bariatric Profiling Bed is a highly robust yet stylish profiling bed that assists in the care and comfort of bariatric clients.
The bed frame extends to the edges of the bed base for optimum support and ease of transfer. An easy to use hand control allows the client to operate the bed"s height and profiling function. The Octave"s heavy duty motor ensures a smooth and almost silent operation. Specially designed with a fully electrical, 4-sectioned profiling mattress support as standard, the Invacare Octave provides maximum comfort and support for the user, as well as an ideal working environment for the carer. As standard this Invacare Octave is supplied with wooden side rails and bed ends as well as a heavy duty lifting pole for additional security. The unique frameless construction of the mattress platform allows improved side access for the user, and the bed ends can be easily detached independently from the side rails for quick and easy access to both head and feet.
