Maxi Sky 440 Portable Ceiling Hoist
Easily controlled by the handheld unit, this Maxi Sky 440 Portable Ceiling Hoist features a soft-start and soft-stop function that ensures the caregiver can smoothly position the user in the correct place.
There are several impressive built-in safeguards such as an emergency brake that works in the same way as a seat belt, an emergency stopping device and a manual lowering system should it be needed. The hoist also has a power limiter that stops it being used when the battery is low. Weighing just 6.5kg (14 lbs) makes it portable and quick, as well as easy, to set up for use. The battery can power up to 30 transfers with a load of 80kg (12.5 stone) before needing to be recharged, and the hoist has an excellent maximum user weight of 200kg (31 stone).
