Demi Boot AFO - Small
This is the small, lightweight Demi Boot AFO, Ankle Foot Orthotic, which is designed to be worn at night.
Suitable for use on either foot, it is useful in the treatment of foot-drop, pressure ulcers and ankle contractures. A wicking liner keeps the foot fresh and dry, while a special hydro-cushion and gel filling help to provide complete pressure relief for the heel. The cushion is adjustable, as is the compression leg strap, which helps to ensure a secure, tailored fit.
The AFO has a special window that allows the carer to see the heel and to ensure it is properly seated and receiving good ventilation. It is supplied with a removable bar that resists ankle rotation during the night. The bar is removable and amply padded.
