Advanced indoor and outdoor performance
The Q400 M provides an extremely comfortable and safe drive whether you are indoors or outdoors, with excellent manoeuvrability. Mid-wheel drive allows it to turn on its own axis and navigate tight, compact spaces or crowded environments with ease. Sit under tables and access wheelchair Adaptive Vehicles effortlessly, with its low seat height from just 415mm.
All-wheel suspension acts independently on all six wheels, maintaining a smooth ride even on rougher terrain and absorbing any bumps. The anti-pitch technology stops you from pitching forward on slopes, keeping you safely and securely in your seat. The mid-wheel drive also keeps all of your weight above the drive wheel, to maximise traction and give you a safer driving position.
With ultra-reliable high torque 4-pole motors to power speeds of 6 or 10kph - and a choice of 50 Ah, 60 Ah or 80 Ah batteries to maximise your range - you can always travel in confidence.
SEDEO LITE seating
This seating system gives you a height adjustable sling back with adjustable straps and a range of optional comfort cushions, including two seat cushions and four back cushions with adjustable straps and different contours. This lets you find perfect comfort and positioning now as well as in the future if your body or needs change. It’s also easy to adjust with one tool.
With a comprehensive range of options, you can find exactly what you want and need from your seating, tailor-made for you. JAY cushions and backs and are also compatible with the SEDEO LITE frame, to cover higher clinical needs.
The Flexi-Back wraps around and contours to the shape of your spine to ensure complete contact, comfort, and stability. The integrated laterals hug your sides, and allows the foam to mould to your anatomy, and are independently adjustable. This back is even suitable for those with moderate-to-severe kyphotic postures or spinal scoliosis, allowing you to sit much more upright without any sacrifice to comfort.
Advanced controls
The advanced controller technology features a large and easy to read HD display and simple paddle switches for intuitive operation. Patented assignable buttons let you pick any function you use frequently to operate with the touch of just one button.
Integrated infrared technology lets you control your TV, docking stations and other home entertainment straight from your joystick. The Bluetooth and idrive also let you control your phone, computer, tablet, or other devices, with up to four connected at once.
