Safe and easy to use
The Dahlia has a Dual Stability System (DSS) that keeps it stable in every tilt position to give you extra safety and peace of mind.
With a narrow width, the Dahlia is as small as an active wheelchair, and you can more easily navigate around living spaces or doorways. Adjustable rear wheels balance the centre of gravity to make this wheelchair easier to turn. The rear wheels are also close to the body for improved manoeuvrability too.
These features also mean that the Dahlia is lighter to push and move, and the smooth tilt motion makes it more comfortable for both users and carers.
Versatile and adaptable
The Rea Dahlia has two tilt options - 30° or 45°. With the 45° you can achieve more tilt and pressure relief possibilities. Support of vulnerable areas is easier to achieve with the light adjustment mechanism, and the DSS has a high backrest pivot point to reduce shear when reclining.
The 30° tilt is ideal if you’re able to propel yourself, and can have the seat height positioned as low as 32.5cm to allow foot propelling. There is a self-tilt option for those who can actively change posture as well. Anti-tippers can be pushed up by a carer’s feet, and they rest at a 5° outward position when folded down so they don’t get in the way when pushing.
A range of options are possible with the Dahlia, from pre-moulded or individually tailored seating to a kerb lever. There are also many adjustable features – centre of gravity, seating (independent of width and depth), extendable seat plate for individual cushions or legs, and more.
