Sunrise Empulse Wheeldrive Power Assist Wheels
The Sunrise Empulse Wheeldrive Power Assist Wheels are a powered mobility aid that let you continuously drive without the need to self-propel and reduces the strain on muscles and joints. They also handle difficult-to-navigate obstacles like thresholds, slopes and small spaces - all from your own manual wheelchair.
With Dual Rim Technology, the Wheeldrive utilises a large hand rim to provide you with additional support whilst propelling, and a small rim to give you continuous drive and reserve your energy when handling an obstacle.
The driving functions on the Wheeldrive are easy to program and the rims have three speed settings for you to choose from, all of which can be tailored for your own individual needs.
Fitting to almost any manual wheelchair, the Empulse Wheeldrive doesn't need any modifications or additional parts to fit and can be easily removed to swap back to the original wheels, or for travelling in a car, without the need for tools.
