Welcome-Giant Half-Step Kit
The modular Welcome Giant Half-Steps make it possible to achieve long shallow steps without having to resort to concrete or other adaptations.
The Extra Large size is designed for the rollator user providing the user plenty of space to safely pause on the level at the threshold when opening their door. Each step is supplied as standard with rubber and fix-down feet options, and a safety anti-trip toe-plate to reduce risk and eliminate the danger of feet getting caught underneath the step. The ability to join steps means that even higher thresholds can be made safe and manageable for those with walking difficulties - simply add another shallow step. Each step has a range of height-adjustment from just 80mm (3.1ins) to up to 150mm (6ins) as standard, which can be increased to up to 200mm (8ins) by using the height-extension kit (not included), especially useful when joining steps.
The handrail with integral safety kerbs for additional stability is also included.
