VELA Chair for Seniors/Elderly
The medium sized VELA Chair for Seniors/Elderly is specially designed to give you independence and keep your usual level of activity around the home if you find you need to sit rather than stand.
It provides a stable and safe seat that you can adjust to a height that is best for you, and with its electric movement it can also help you stand from sitting, or vice versa.
The VELA helps to prevent falls and trips around the home for those with limited mobility by letting you 'walk' or push yourself around without having to stand to move. The unique central brake gives you a stable and safer seat when you need it, for transferring to other seats, or standing/sitting. The four wheels run smoothly and are direction-stable, making it much easier to 'walk' the chair.
Letting you take the weight off your feet and legs, this chair can be raised up high to allow you to carry out activities from a seated position where you may normally stand. The electronic adjustment is smooth, so that you can comfortably raise or lower without jolts or bumps that occur with manual height adjustment.
The 'Active’ seat and backrest also give you great comfort levels and offer light support, with comfortable upholstery from Main Line Plus, which has great resistance to wear and tear and is easy to clean.
