This alert system has loud or soft volume settings, two alarm sounds, and the option to be silenced and connected to a nurse call system for remote alarm signalling, and it suits a diverse range of applications. The alarm features adjustable stand-by time to allow the carer to reposition the person without the alarm being triggered again.

Versatile for a range of settings

This alarm can only be turned off by infrared remote control or key code, reducing the risk of it being switched off before the person is properly attended to by a carer, and making it ideal for patients with a history of turning off their own alarms.

The alarm unit is made from resin with a tough, rubberised housing for protection against damage. It can be used with optional sensor mats (sold separately) which are placed on a bed or chair surface, or can attach to a patient's clothing or nearby material with the pull cord. It features a versatile mounting base and wall hanger, and a cable holder to prevent accidental disconnection.
