The Burford Commode is designed to support independence in the bathroom when balance and strength are reduced, making toileting safer and more comfortable for both users and carers.
The strong metal frame supports users up to 100kg (15st 9lb). The seat width is approximately 46cm, and the seat height can be adjusted between 48–58cm, making it suitable for a wide range of users and ideal for hospitals, nursing homes and homecare settings.
Four castor wheels allow the commode to be moved easily to where it is needed and make it simple to store out of the way when not in use. This reduces the need for lifting and carrying compared with fixed commodes.
Padded swing-away armrests provide a comfortable place to rest the arms and also offer leverage and extra grip when sitting down or standing up. The swing-away design also helps with sideways transfers on and off the commode.
The commode pan is easy to remove for emptying and cleaning. Simply lift the toilet seat, secure the lid on the pan and take it away carefully for disposal and cleaning. The seat and lid can be wiped with a soft cloth as needed.
This commode is compatible with the Easy Clean Commode Pan and Lid and the Smart Commode Pan and Lid.

- £12.00 for orders of £70 or more that weigh less than 30kg.
- £15.95 for orders that are less than £70 and weigh less than 30kg.
