The Maxi Comfort Opal Riser Recliner is a dual motor chair that blends elegant curves, easy-clean PU upholstery and supportive cushioning to help you relax in comfort and stay independent at home.
The smooth, hardwearing upholstery is available in classic colours such as black or brown, giving the Opal a smart, modern look that suits many living rooms. Curved, generously filled armrests provide both comfort and draught protection, while the triple waterfall backrest offers targeted support to the lumbar area, mid-back and shoulders.
The dual motor system allows the backrest and footrest to move independently. Using the simple big-button handset, you can gently raise your legs, recline your back or find the exact combination that feels right for you. Two side pockets help keep the handset and your everyday essentials close at hand.
If you find it difficult to stand up from a regular armchair, the Opals riser function can make a real difference. The powered lift action tilts and raises the chair to help you stand more easily, then lowers you back into a seated position without sudden movements. Its a reassuring feature for anyone who wants to reduce strain on their joints and feel more secure when moving between sitting and standing.

Doorstep delivery to mainland UK (under 30kg)
- £4.99 on all orders under £50.
- Free standard delivery on orders of £50 and over.
- Next day delivery £7.99.
Next day delivery is available on orders made before 12:30pm from Monday to Thursday on qualifying products.
If you order before 12:30pm on a Friday, your order will be delivered the following Monday (excluding bank holidays).
If you order after 12:30pm on a Friday, your order will be delivered the following Tuesday (excluding bank holidays).
Delivery to non-mainland UK addresses
Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, and Northern Ireland:
- £12.00 for orders of £70 or more that weigh less than 30kg.
- £15.95 for orders that are less than £70 and weigh less than 30kg.
