The Ultima Sliding Shower Chair is a cleverly designed transfer bench that makes moving in and out of the bath or shower safer and easier for both you and your carer.
Instead of “scooting” along a fixed bench, the sliding seat glides smoothly along the frame. A carer can use the handle to guide you across the bench and into the tub, reducing strain and making transfers more controlled and comfortable.
The seat height is adjustable between approximately 50–60cm so it can be set to suit different bath heights, and the contoured backrest offers extra comfort and support while you wash. Drainage holes in the seat help to prevent slipping and make cleaning easier.
The height-adjustable, reversible angled legs mean the bench can be configured to suit a wide range of bathroom layouts. Each leg is fitted with an anti-slip suction cup to help secure the bench to the bath or shower surface.
A built-in soap dish keeps your bathing products within easy reach, helping you avoid bending or stretching. When not in use, the Ultima Sliding Shower Chair can be folded and stored away to save space.
The transfer bench includes a locking mechanism to prevent accidental folding during use. The maximum bath height it can safely fit over is approximately 47.5cm.
