The Xpedition Transport Wheelchair gets you where you need to go without fuss.
A super simple wheelchair that keeps you safe and comfortable, the Xpedition is forged from powder coated steel for strength and durability. It's got a high weight limit of up to 18 stone (114kg) and puncture-proof castor wheels for a smooth ride.
The fixed armrests include PVC arm pads to help give pressure relief in your arms and elbows. The nylon upholstery is supportive and easy to clean, while the swing away leg rests with heel straps help to make it that little bit easier to get on and off the wheelchair. It also includes a backrest pouch to keep your belongings close by.
The Xpedition Transport Wheelchair has a half-folding back to help make it even more compact. All you need to do is push the black paddle at the rear of the chair with your thumb while pulling the handle down. Pull upwards on the seat and the frame also folds to a width of just 20cm, great for putting in the car boot or tucking it away until you need it again.
The Xpedition includes stepper tubes at the rear to allow for safer kerb mounting with the help of an attendant, It also has a black steel brake to stop the wheelchair from moving.
The Xpedition Transport Wheelchair comes almost fully assembled. Just take it out of the packaging, pull the armrests apart, push the seat down and pop the leg rests on.
Please note that a seat belt is not included with this model.
